The beloved anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is officially crossing over with the collectible RPG Seven Knights Re:BIRTH for a month-long collaboration, beginning October 1. Demon Slayer has garnered a massive fanbase across manga, anime, theme parks, and gaming, and this latest crossover marks another opportunity for fans to enjoy their favorite characters in a brand-new way.
Mangaka Koyoharu Gotouge first wrote and illustrated Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba as a weekly publication in the Japanese magazine Weekly Shonen Jump in February 2016. The action-packed storytelling and dynamic artistic style quickly caught the attention of manga readers, eventually leading to the green-lighting of a full anime adaption by Ufotable in 2019. That same year, audiences in the United States were introduced to the series via the Toonami broadcast block on Cartoon Network, and subsequent streaming debuts on Crunchyroll and Funimation helped Demon Slayer to reach even broader global audiences. Now widely recognized among the most popular anime series, Demon Slayer‘s influence is once again marking a major milestone with a new gaming collaboration.
