One of the next new products coming to the Palworld card game has been delayed, pushing back the release of the Sleeve and Card Set Vol. 1 to October 16. The new accessories and exclusive promo cards will precede the release of Palworld‘s second full set.
The Palworld Official Card Game made its long-awaited debut in late July to massive fanfare by Pocketpair and Bushiroad. The Dawn of Palpagos set debuted on July 30 as the first set for the game, featuring cards based on a variety of fan-favorite Pals, including Cattiva, Lamball, and Chillet. The expansion was also joined by a pair of Trial Decks aimed at giving players an entry point into the game, each including a fully built 50-card deck and a pack from the Dawn of Palpagos set. Now, with Palworld‘s second full set on the horizon, the card game’s first official accessories have been pushed back.
Palworld Official Card Game’s First Official Accessories Have Been Delayed
Bushiroad confirmed that the Palworld Official Card Game‘s Sleeve and Card Set Vol. 1 has been pushed back from its original release date. The product is now scheduled to release on October 16, pushing the release back of the game’s first official accessories back two weeks from the originally planned date of October 2. The accessory set includes a pack of 75 card sleeves, each featuring a Pal Sphere design on the back, as well as exclusive promo cards of Cattiva, Depresso, Chillet, Quivern, and Grizzbolt. Bushiroad apologized for the delay and reassured customers that it is “working behind the scenes” to release the sleeves as quickly as possible.

The Palworld delay comes as the card game has already been targeted by scalpers early in its release. Many fans have reported difficulty trying to find the Palworld card game in local game stores, with resellers buying out stock of the cards. Booster boxes of Dawn of Palpagos have been spotted on sites like eBay for far above MSRP, with Palworld boxes selling for as much as $175 on the secondary market. The biggest chase card from Dawn of Palpagos also boasts a high price tag, with early copies of the all-gold SSS Cattiva selling for thousands of dollars.
While supply issues have plagued the Palworld Official Card Game since its release, Bushiroad has given fans hope for the future of the game. The company officially addressed fans just weeks after the release of the game, commenting on the stock shortages for Dawn of Palpagos. Bushiroad confirmed that additional stock of the Palworld set was already being sent to stores, and the company is planning a 2nd Edition release for Dawn of Palpagos to give even more fans the chance to buy the cards.
Reprints of Dawn of Palpagos will accompany the upcoming second full set for the Palworld Official Card Game. Bushiroad has already revealed Palworld‘s upcoming Legends Awaken expansion as the next set coming to the game, featuring new Pals like Chillet Ignis and Jetragon. The Palworld card game is even preparing for its third full set planned to launch in early 2027, though no official details have been revealed about the expansion. Fans can only hope that Bushiroad alleviates its supply issues soon, so that even more people can get their hands on the Palworld Official Card Game.
