The Wilds Era Zelda games on the Nintendo Switch are massive in their scale, delivering an expansive open world for players to explore across Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom. Even so, the upcoming Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake is on pace to beat the size of these games, according to a new report. This would make Zelda: Ocarina of Time the biggest mainline Zelda game released on the Switch 2 to date, surpassing the juggernauts that are Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time File Size Revealed
New reports of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time‘s file size have started surfacing ahead of the game’s November 6 launch. Japanese eShop cards for the game have revealed that players will need 27 GB of storage on their Nintendo Switch 2 to download the game. This report is further corroborated by the estimated file size listed for the Ocarina of Time remake on Nintendo’s official website. If this is the final file size for Ocarina of Time on the Switch 2, it would make it the largest mainline Zelda game on the platform.
