PlayStation has pulled back the curtain on the PS Plus free games for April 2026, revealing what is joining Lords of the Fallen (2023) and Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream on Tuesday, April 7. Indeed, some fans may have expected to know what the free games were a week ago, but based on the way the March transitioned into April, the PS Plus free games reveal was delayed, kind of, depending on how you squint your eyes.
This “added” time, so to speak, has been kind to PS Plus subscribers who have been keeping an ear out for the new games. Billbil-Kun, a reliable leaker for Dealabs, typically only reveals the headlining PS Plus game ahead of time every month. However, the extended time seemed to give them a chance to reveal two games, the aforementioned Lords of the Fallen and Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream. But now, with official confirmation from PlayStation, fans know every game joining the service on April 7.

Adding to the list of Soulslike games on PS Plus, Lords of the Fallen sees players step into the shoes of a crusader tasked with stopping Adyr’s resurrection. Befitting the genre, Lords of the Fallen features challenging combat and deep character builds, but it also tries to innovate on the genre with two worlds that players shift between: the world of the living and the world of the dead. Meanwhile, Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream is a massive crossover of characters from across the series, created when timelines collide. At its core, it’s an anime-inspired action RPG with a focus on large-scale cooperative multiplayer, where players can take on raids and missions consisting of up to 20 players.
Finally, Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered is a collection of Lara Croft’s first three adventures, where players explore tombs, solve puzzles, and fight enemies while searching for ancient artifacts. It keeps the original gameplay but adds updated graphics, better controls, and the option to switch between classic and modern visuals. As far as remastered games on PS Plus go, this collection is undoubtedly hard to beat.
PS Plus Subscribers Have Until April 7 to Download 4 Free Games
There’s still time, too, for subscribers to play the PS Plus free games for March 2026. Even if it’s not something you intend to play right now, or even this month, claiming it now means you can come back to it whenever (as long as you have an active PS Plus subscription). These games include the following:
- PGA Tour 2K25 (PS5)
- Monster Hunter Rise (PS5, PS4)
- Slime Rancher 2 (PS5)
- The Elder Scrolls Online Collection: Gold Road (PS5, PS4)
This PS Plus line-up applies to several niche games and genres, even if they are big in their own right. PGA Tour 2K25 appeals to fans of sports games as a straightforward golf sim focused on realistic gameplay and career progression, while Monster Hunter Rise speeds up gameplay and focuses on action, giant monsters, and gear-oriented progression. Slime Rancher 2 offers a more relaxed experience, letting players explore and raise cute slimes on a vibrant island. Meanwhile, The Elder Scrolls Online Collection: Gold Road is a massive MMO packed with quests, exploration, and ongoing multiplayer adventures in the world of Tamriel, and this version lets players join the world too.
