Overwatch Fan Creates Every Hero in Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream

An Overwatch fan recently made every playable hero in Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream, including non-human characters like Ramattra, Orisa, and Wrecking Ball. Using the full breadth of Tomodachi Life‘s character creator, this player recreated the heroes of Overwatch in impressive detail.

Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream is a charming life simulator that Nintendo released for the Switch on April 16. Using its robust character customization options, users can create Miis of many shapes and sizes to populate their island, where they can interact with one another and build relationships, all influenced and overseen by the player. Unsurprisingly, gamers have taken to recreating characters from games like Fire Emblem, Zenless Zone Zero, and Dragon Age in Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream using its impressive character creator.

Overwatch Heroes Recreated in Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream

Now, one fan has brought Future Earth to Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream. Overwatch player Oyasumirachel made every single playable character from the hero shooter on their Tomodachi Life island in shocking detail. All 51 characters currently available in the hero shooter as of May 2026 are included in the bunch, including Sierra, the new hero added to Overwatch in Reign of Talon Season 2.

Oyasumirachel recreated the heroes in striking detail; Ana’s face markings, Genji’s burn scars, and Roadhog’s mask are all perfect copies. Even non-human Overwatch characters like Jetpack Cat, Orisa, Ramattra, and Echo are there, showing the seemingly limitless range of what Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream’s character creator is capable of.

Unsurprisingly, Oyasumirachel’s fellow Overwatch fans were impressed by their attention to detail, with the Reddit post receiving over 7,300 upvotes and 220 comments within days of posting. Most of the comments consisted of users pointing out their favorite Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream renditions, discussing canon hero heights, or suggesting other non-playable characters they would like to see, such as Orisa’s creator Efi in Overwatch.

That said, in less than two months, Oyasumirachel’s lineup of Overwatch heroes will be outdated. During the Overwatch Spotlight, Blizzard revealed it would be dropping a new hero every season, meaning additional characters are expected to arrive in Season 3 in June, Season 4 in August, Season 5 in October, and Season 6 in December. Though they have not been officially revealed yet, a credible Overwatch leaker has reportedly identified these characters already. Fans will have to see if these leaks prove to be true when they are officially confirmed – and how the new heroes translate into Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream if Oyasumirachel adds them to their roster.
