The Palworld Official Card Game is teasing a set of new promo cards being released with the upcoming Sleeve & Card Set Vol. 1. The newest release for the popular Palworld card game will include the first official accessories for the fledgling TCG.
Pocketpair and Bushiroad made waves in late July with the debut of the Palworld Official Card Game as an adaptation of the beloved monster-catching game. The Dawn of Palpagos set featured many of the game’s most popular Pals, including Cattiva, Lamball, and Chillet, alongside fan-favorite human antagonists like Zoe and Victor. The game even debuted with some particularly exciting chase cards for collectors, including full-art “OSR” versions of several cards in the set and a highly coveted gold Cattiva card. Now, the Palworld card game is gearing up to debut a set of exclusive promo cards with its next new product.

- Two copies of each, two cards in each pack replaced with OSR versions
Bushiroad officially unveiled the new promo cards coming with the Palworld Official Card Game‘s Sleeve & Card Set Vol. 1. The accessory bundle will include a pack of 75 card sleeves with a Pal Sphere design and a set of ten promo cards, featuring two each of Cattiva, Depresso, Chillet, Quivern, and Grizzbolt. The promo packs also randomly replace two of the cards in each bundle with a full-art OSR version of the card, though Bushiroad did not confirm if the packs could contain duplicate OSRs. Palworld‘s Sleeve & Card Set Vol. 1 is scheduled to officially release on October 16.

The newest Palworld product’s launch comes as supply has been a recurring problem for the new trading card game. Early stock of booster boxes for Dawn of Palpagos quickly sold out across many game stores, with scalpers targeting the Palworld card game early and reselling boxes for far above MSRP. The shortages even extended to the game’s first accessories, with Bushiroad pushing back the release of the Sleeve & Card Set Vol. 1 by two weeks to its current October 16 date, after originally being scheduled for October 2.
While many fans have struggled to get their hands on Palworld cards, Bushiroad has confirmed that help is on the way. Bushiroad made a statement on the game’s shortages in late August, confirming that not only was the company sending out more first-print boxes to stores, but a 2nd Edition of Dawn of Palpagos was on the way. Cards from the set’s second printing will be nearly identical to the first wave, only adding a Roman numeral “II” to the corner of the card next to the copyright. The 2nd Edition of Dawn of Palpagos is currently expected to ship in late October.
Dawn of Palpagos reprints will be joined by the highly-anticipated launch of the Palworld Official Card Game‘s second set. Bushiroad and Pocketpair have confirmed that the Legends Awaken expansion will debut on October 30, bringing more beloved Pals such as Chillet Ignis and Jetragon to the game. Legends Awaken will also feature the introduction of the Legendary trait to the game, included on powerful Pal cards that are limited to one copy in a player’s Base at any time. Between reprints of Dawn of Palpagos and a wealth of new cards in Legends Awaken, the Palworld Official Card Game is primed to continue its early success.
