Palworld Card Game Update is Good News for Fans

A new update from the Palworld Official Card Game brings news that fans have been waiting to hear, confirming new print runs for the Dawn of Palpagos expansion. The first set of the Palworld trading card game has already been a hot commodity among fans and collectors.

The launch of Palworld‘s TCG adaptation has already been a huge success for Pocketpair and Bushiroad. The game’s initial launch came with the release of its first full set, Dawn of Palpagos, alongside two trial decks for the game, featuring both fan-favorite Pals, such as Chillet and Lyleen, and some important human characters, including Zoe and Lily. However, the card game’s success has made it the target of scalpers early into its life, with boxes of Palworld‘s first set being resold for significant markups and some cards even selling for hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars. Now, the Palworld Official Card Game is taking steps to alleviate its supply issues.

One of Palworld’s most notable developers is sharing details about the company’s practice for adding new collaborations to the game.

Palworld Official Card Game’s First Set is Getting Reprints

The Palworld Official Card Game recently made an announcement about shortages on the game’s social media. The creators of the TCG apologized for early supply issues with the Dawn of Palpagos set, which made it difficult for many fans to buy the cards. Bushiroad confirmed that the company is in the process of providing more stock of the Palworld Official Card Game‘s first set to stores, also revealing that Dawn of Palpagos will receive a “2nd Edition” print run in order to ensure demand is met for the set. The company did not confirm when the second print run of Dawn of Palpagos will roll out, with more details said to be provided “in the near future.”

New print runs for Dawn of Palpagos will likely be a relief for many fans waiting to pick up the trading card game. The game’s first set features 100 unique cards across four different rarities, alongside 61 alternate parallel-rarity versions of some of its biggest cards. Many of the full-art OSR and SP rarity cards have already begun to sell for significant prices on the secondary market, with several Palworld cards selling for more than $100. The biggest chase card in the set has easily been the gold SSS version of popular early-game Pal Cattiva, with some early copies selling for as much as $4,000.

The upcoming reprints for Dawn of Palpagos come as the Palworld TCG has already given fans a look ahead at the game’s future. Bushiroad has officially revealed the first post-launch expansion coming to the card game, with Legends Awaken launching as the second full set in October 2026. Legends Awaken will introduce several popular Pals to the card game for the first time, including Chillet Ignis and Jetragon, and will be accompanied by two new Trial Decks releasing in December 2026.

The early popularity of the Palworld Official Card Game comes just after a major moment for the franchise. Palworld officially launched the Version 1.0 update for the main game in early July, marking the full launch of the game more than two years after its early access debut. Pocketpair has also confirmed multiple spin-offs in the works for Palworld, revealing both a farming sim in Palworld: Palfarm and a mobile-focused MMORPG in Palworld Online. Fans of Palworld have every reason to be excited about the game’s future, with plenty in store as the brand expands even further.
