Palworld Might Have Teased Its Next Collab

Palworld may be hinting at the next collaboration coming to the popular survival game, potentially teaming up with sandbox game Core Keeper. The monster-catching game developed by Pocketpair took the gaming world by storm following its release in early 2024, quickly catching on with fans for its in-depth base-building mechanics and variety of unique creatures. Palworld sold more than 1 million copies on Steam within eight hours of its release and had surpassed eight million units sold by the end of its first week. Palworld has also partnered with some big indie games for crossovers.

Palworld has welcomed crossovers with multiple popular indie games since its initial 2024 release. June 2025 brought the launch of the first major crossover to hit the monster-catching game, with multiple items and creatures from Terraria added to the game. Popular first-person shooter Ultrakill was also the star of a collaboration with Palworld, seeing Pocketpair introduce both the V1 and V2 armor sets from the fast-paced shooter game. Now, a conversation on developer Pocketpair’s official Discord server may have just hinted at the next collaboration coming to Palworld.

Palworld May Be Teaming Up with Core Keeper

A recent discussion between Pocketpair’s Head of Publishing and Communications Bucky and Core Keeper developer Fredrik Prantare may have confirmed Palworld‘s next collab. The conversation begins with Bucky joking with Prantare about a fan wanting popular Pal Cattiva in Core Keeper, leading to Prantare jokingly asking permission to add the Pal to the game. Bucky was quick to give the okay to Prantare, with the Core Keeper creator suggesting that he would begin to “cook” up the Pal’s introduction to the game. Neither Palworld nor Core Keeper has officially commented on the Discord exchange, with the collaboration’s official introduction to either game likely to take some time.

While the conversation may seem like a joking exchange between two developers, each individual holds significant sway in their game. Bucky’s executive role with Pocketpair’s publishing division could put him in a position to officially make a decision on crossovers for the popular monster-catching game. Fredrik Prantare is similarly one of the main directors on Core Keeper, alongside fellow director Julian Seifert-Olszewski. The exchange likely suggests that Core Keeper will at least be adding Cattiva to the game as part of the collaboration, with some new content potentially arriving in Palworld.

Palworld‘s teased collaboration with Core Keeper comes as Pocketpair is gearing up to turn the game into a full-fledged franchise. Pocketpair officially announced a major new spinoff of the game in late 2025, teasing Palworld: Palfarm as a cozy farming sim with players and their Pals settling down on a farm. Palworld also confirmed it will be following in Pokemon‘s footsteps in a major way, confirming a trading card game for the monster-catching game, set to launch its first Trial Decks and expansion in July 2026. The main game is gearing up for a major event later this year as well, preparing to finally leave early access.

Palworld is officially set to finally launch its Version 1.0 update sometime in 2026, with lots on the way for the game. The announcement for the 1.0 update teased at least six new pals coming to Palworld when the game leaves early access, though none have received their official names. Palworld is expected to not only introduce even more Pals before the 1.0 update’s official launch, but also improvements to gameplay, new weapons, and more areas for players to explore within the game. 2026 is shaping up to be a big year for Palworld, with lots in store for the franchise as a whole.
