Path of Exile 2 debuted a new gameplay trailer during Gamescom Opening Night Live, which revealed that the action-role-playing sequel will finally launch out of early access on December 11.
The latest gameplay trailer offers a snippet of the sequel’s narrative setup, as well as a look at its faster action compared to its predecessor. Like the first game, Path of Exile 2 will offer incredibly deep class customization through hundreds of active and passive skill gems, with a deep emphasis on endgame content that will be composed of over 100 maps and grueling boss fights.
Path of Exile 2 entered early access in December 2024 across PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. Participating in early builds of the game wasn’t free, but developer Grinding Gear Games has confirmed that the game will be going free-to-play when it does launch into 1.0 later this year.
