PC Users Have Limited Time to Claim 2023 Game with 100% Positive Reviews for Free

PC Users Have Limited Time to Claim 2023 Game with 100% Positive Reviews for Free

PC users can currently claim a 2023 game with 100% positive reviews completely free of charge, with the added bonus that it will be 100% DRM free, and that game is The Brave Little Cloud. As the name suggests, it’s a pretty simple game in both its concept and its execution, but that execution matters for PC games.

Unlike a free game given away by Steam or Epic Games Store, however, The Brave Little Cloud is a free game giveaway from IndieGala—a solid site that typically rotates free game offerings into its selection. The added benefit is that it lacks any sort of restrictive technology that would otherwise prevent players from copying, backing up, or installing the game across multiple devices, ensuring that for one game, anyone can play. And that’s a good thing too because The Brave Little Cloud is a solid first platformer for a young child.

Steam’s Free-to-Keep Promotion Has 6 Upcoming 100% Free Games

The backend of Steam’s Free-to-Keep Promotion reveals six games that will be made available for free in the coming weeks/months.

    • It is unknown how long this giveaway will last

    • Sign into your free IndieGala account (or create one)
    • Go to “My Library” to access it

Typically priced at $9.99, The Brave Little Cloud puts players into the shoes of a little cloud (shocker, I know) and sees them journey through a handful of 2D action platformer levels. It’s nothing too tricky, with players facing various enemies who threaten the balance of the world, overcoming a variety of environmental obstacles, and otherwise navigating a straightforward but solid platformer level design. There are a handful of abilities players unlock to simplify things further, especially after they face bosses, but the game does become more difficult after each new level. It’s a solid ramp-up that’s designed to help develop reaction times and, to some degree, logical thinking.

The Brave Little Cloud has a very clear goal and target, and as a result, it has garnered 100% positive reviews on Steam. In general, players enjoyed its cuteness, its colorful world, its solid gameplay, and smooth controls. The story and difficulty are a bit split in reviews, but obviously not enough to pull it away from its positive reviews. That said, there are only 27 reviews because of how “super indie” this game is.

Enjoy Other Free Games on Steam or PC

While The Brave Little Cloud is a solid free PC game, it is not the only one currently available to claim. Steam’s Free-to-Keep Promotion currently has Just Move Fall Dungeon Endless Abyss available completely free of charge until 10 am PT on May 13, while Lenovo is also hosting a Dishonored 2 game Giveaway on May 13. Players can also snag Roving Rovers on Steam before it transitions to a paid model on May 13.

It’s not the best haul, it’s not the worst haul, but each game will no doubt expand some digital libraries. Dishonored 2 is the biggest of the bunch, so fans should check out Lenovo’s Legion Gaming Community (linked above) and enter its queue on May 13.
