PlayStation users can currently pick up the Red Dead Redemption bundle at a 60% discount. The promotional offer, which runs until mid-December 2025, brings the pack containing some of the highest-rated PlayStation games ever made to its lowest-ever price on the PS Store.

Originally launched in 2010, Red Dead Redemption made a comeback in August 2023, releasing digitally for the PS4 and Nintendo Switch. Coinciding with that debut, Rockstar put out a franchise bundle combining the PS4 version of the game with Red Dead Redemption 2. The two-pack was priced at $99.99, $10 less than buying its included titles separately, thus offering a compelling entry point into the series for players new to either game.

RDR + RDR2 Bundle Gets Its First-Ever 60% Discount on PS Store

The Red Dead Redemption bundle received a 60% discount on the PlayStation Store in early December 2025, dropping to $39.99. The offer is valid until December 15, at 11:59pm PT. While the two-pack saw a temporary discount over a dozen times since August 2023, the ongoing promotion marks its lowest-ever price on Sony’s digital storefront and a $5 improvement over its prior best price. Neither of the included titles is currently on sale separately via the PS Store. However, even going by the steepest individual discounts on Red Dead Redemption games to date, the current price of the bundle matches the sum of the included titles’ lowest-ever prices.

RDR1 PS4/5 Version Is Content-Complete, But With a Catch

In terms of what’s actually on offer here, the first series entry that’s part of the bundle is content-complete, at least from a single-player perspective. Buyers are getting both the base game and Red Dead Redemption‘s popular zombie expansion Undead Nightmare, with select bonuses from the title’s GOTY edition also being part of the package, introducing some extra outfits and minor side content. However, there’s a catch here: nothing multiplayer-related is included, because the PS4/5 version of Red Dead Redemption does not have the online component of the PS3 original, which was conceptually similar to the Free Mode in GTA 4 Online, just without character customization.

Two-Pack Version of RDR2 Isn’t Content Complete, But That Doesn’t Really Matter

Conversely, the version of Red Dead Redemption 2 included in the two-pack is not content-complete. However, the differences between the base game and its higher-tier editions are relatively minor compared to its predecessor. The Story Mode gets a single bank robbery mission, while the remaining extras consist of one additional horse, saddle, talisman, outfit, and several weapons, plus some gameplay boosts and discounts. In other words, nothing that adds substantial new content in the way Undead Nightmare does for the original Red Dead Redemption.

The ongoing sale on the Red Dead Redemption bundle is live globally. While the Xbox consoles and PC have both received the same two-pack, only the PlayStation version of the bundle is currently on sale. Based on Rockstar’s recent track record and typical promotional patterns, the bundle is unlikely to drop below this price point before mid-2026. However, the current 60% discount may return once or twice before then.

One thing that makes this two-pack slightly less attractive to a subset of PlayStation users is Red Dead Redemption‘s recent launch on PS Plus, which occurred on December 2. Since then, PS Plus Extra and Premium members have been able to play Rockstar’s iconic game at no extra cost as part of their subscriptions.
