Niantic reveals the details for Part 2 of the paid Wonder Ticket experience in Pokemon GO including the rewards that can be earned as well as the unique Eevee encounters that players can experience. After launching to incredible popularity back in 2016, becoming a massive phenomina, Pokemon GO has managed to maintain a level of success throughout the years thanks in large part to its ability to evolve. Adopting a live service model, players have seen new Pokemon continually added to the experience, new limited time events, as well as seasonal content to help keep the experience fresh.

Currently, the World of Wonders season is active within Pokemon GO, which not only brings new Research Tasks to complete, but has also seen plenty of limited time events come and go as well. So far this season, players have seen a unique Team GO Rocket take over, shiny variants of Sandile, Krokorok, and Krookodile, as well as the debuts for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet standouts Charcadet and its evolutions of Armatouge and Ceruledge. For those wanting to spend a bit of cash, Niantic also kicked off a paid event called the Wonder Ticket, which provides even more bonuses and encounters.

Mysterious Pokemon GO Glitch Is Giving Players an Unreleased Item

A new Pokemon GO glitch gives players an item that hasn’t been released yet, and trainers are intrigued to find out what it is.

Week 1 of Pokemon GO‘s Wonder Ticket began on March 1, and starting in a few days on April 1, the second phase of Wonder Ticket begins. In a new blog post, Niantic provided details on what players can expect, including a new seasonally themed encounter with the evolution Pokemon known as Eevee. While trainers get access to Eevee and all eight of its evolutions, the Wonder Ticket gives them a different look with a cherry blossom crown.

Niantic also teased a third part to the Wonder Ticket, which is likely launching on May 1 if the pattern stays true, though the studio isn’t revealing any additional details at the moment. Interested players can purchase the Wonder Ticket for $9.99 USD until June 14, 2024, though Niantic warns that all tasks and rewards need to be claimed prior to the end date, as it won’t remain unlocked for players to complete at their own pace. The news shouldn’t be too surprising considering other paid research events, including the recent Verdant Wonders Special Research with Zarude operated the same way.

This weekend also sees the Taken Over event kick off for players, though many have begun to voice their displeasure over the latest Pokemon GO event. It seems the rewards being offered feel underwhelming to many players, especially the Shadow Variants of Cacnea, Machop, and Trapinch, creatures which have been readily available and don’t really fit what sort of rewards players were looking for.
