Pokemon GO has revealed the upcoming Dynamax Trails event, which will feature the return of Eternatus, alongside almost every previously released Dynamax Pokemon. Max Battles have been a part of Pokemon GO over the last few years, and are inspired by the Dynamax and Gigantamax mechanic that debuted in Pokemon Sword and Shield. In those Nintendo Switch games, Eternatus was the reason that Pokemon in the Galar region were able to Dynamax or Gigantamax.
Pokemon GO Reveals Dynamax Trails Event
Beginning on Monday, November 16 at 10 AM local time, the Dynamax Trails event in Pokemon GO will put a major focus on Max Battles. Throughout the week, players can expect to see more active Power Spots than usual, and almost every Dynamax Pokemon introduced in Pokemon GO will have a chance of making an appearance. This will not include Legendary or Mythical Pokemon, however. Players will also have a chance of getting Pokemon with a Special Background when participating in Max Battles. Pokemon GO teased the return of Eternatus, and developer Scopely Explore has now confirmed the Legendary will return through the GO Pass: Dynamax Trails. Eternamax Eternatus will also take over most Power Spots on Saturday, November 21 from 11 AM to 2 PM local time.
