A Pokemon GO fan is sharing a batch of incredible Lechonk truffles they made for the mobile monster-catching game’s May Community Day. The bundle of Pokemon GO-themed sweets features a variety of expressions from the Gen 9 Pokemon.
Pokemon GO‘s Community Days stand as one of the most popular recurring events for the beloved mobile spinoff of the monster-catching franchise. Each month typically features one main Community Day, significantly increasing the spawn rate and Shiny chance for a particular featured Pokemon during the event. Pokemon GO also gives players access to some special perks for catching Pokemon during the game’s Community Day events, ranging from special moves when evolving the featured Pokemon to increased XP and Stardust for catching Pokemon. Now, May’s Lechonk Community Day has prompted one Pokemon fan to create some gorgeous treats inspired by Lechonk.

Pokemon GO Fan Creates Stunning Lechonk Truffles
Reddit user miscellaneousmao shared their batch of truffles inspired by Lechonk to celebrate Pokemon GO‘s May Community Day. The sweet treats, confirmed by the Reddit user to be Oreo chocolate truffles, each featured different depictions of the ninth-generation pig Pokemon with a mix of happy expressions. The truffles included multiple designs for Lechonk’s face, showing some treats with Lechonk’s ears hanging over its eyes and others with its ears sticking straight up. The impressive batch of Pokemon sweets even included some based on Lechonk’s Shiny variant, with a handful of pink Lechonks included in the mix.

The delicious-looking batch of Lechonk truffles received a lot of fans in the post’s comments. Many fans praised the adorable designs of the Lechonk truffles, with some fans even suggesting the treats had inspired them to give fitting nicknames to their Lechonks. Some fans called the post from miscellaneousmao the “best part of Community Days,” with the creator previously sharing treats based on the featured Pokemon for each of Pokemon GO‘s Community Day events. The creator’s Reddit account also includes Community Day-themed sweets for every event since February 2019’s Swinub Community Day.
Pokemon GO‘s May Community Day gave fans multiple incentives to go out and catch plenty of Lechonks. Evolving a Lechonk into Oinkologne during the event allowed the Pokemon to learn the Mud Slap Fast Attack, which boasts a solid 19 Power against Pokemon in Gyms and Raids and 11 Power against other Trainers. The mobile game also brought its typical suite of special rewards and bonuses to May’s Community Day, drastically reducing the Hatch distance for eggs, increasing Incense duration, and giving double Candy for catching Pokemon, among other perks.

While the Lechonk event only recently concluded, Pokemon GO has already shared the dates for its next few Community Days. Niantic confirmed that Pokemon GO‘s next Community Day events will run on June 20, July 4, and August 15, though featured Pokemon have yet to be confirmed. The mobile game also shared dates for some of its other recurring events, with Raid Days being held on June 27 and August 22, while the next Hatch Day will run on August 8. Pokemon GO looks to have a busy summer in store for fans, filled with lots of exciting events and new Pokemon to capture.
