A Pokemon GO leak has revealed that Necrozma’s fusions will be available in the game. Pokemon GO has 61 Legendary monsters in its Pokedex, and players can catch most of them in 5-star Raids. The list of Legendary Pokemon available in the game will soon increase with the addition of Necrozma, one of the critters featured in Gen 7.
Necrozma has a vaguely humanoid appearance, and its body is made from a black crystalline material. The Psychic-type Pokemon is the cover mascot for Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, and together with Solgaleo and Lunala forms the “Light trio.” After leaks teased the addition of the Legendary to the augmented reality game, Niantic later confirmed that Necrozma is coming to Pokemon GO. But while Necrozma will debut at Pokemon GO Fest 2024’s Raids, players have not known many details beyond that. Now, a new Pokemon GO leak has been shared that reveals exciting information about Necrozma’s arrival.
New Pokemon Go Player Reaches Level 50 in Incredibly Short Amount of Time
A Pokemon GO player reaches the coveted level 50, and impresses other trainers by revealing how quickly they achieved this feat.
Reddit user Pokeradar posted a Pokemon GO leak revealing that it will be possible to fuse Necrozma with Solgaleo and Lunala. The images show Necrozma in its regular form, with a “Fusion” button below “Power Up.” Next, the Pokemon GO leak shows the fusion of Necrozma and Lunala, and where the Fusion button used to appear, the “Unfusion” is available. The same goes for the powerful Legendary Solgaleo, with more images showing its fusion with Necrozma, and the same button to undo the fusion.
Leak Teases the Addition of Necrozma’s Alternate Forms in Pokemon GO
Although Necrozma doesn’t evolve from or into any Pokemon, the Legendary has three alternative forms. When fused with Solgaleo, the Pokemon transforms into Dusk Mane Necrozma, becoming a Psychic/Steel-type. Fusing with Lunala transforms the Pokemon into the Psychic/Ghost-type called Dawn Wings Necrozma. The antagonist of Pokemon Ultra Sun and Moon turns into Ultra Necrozma when Dusk Mane or Dawn Wings Necrozma holds Ultranecrozium Z and uses Ultra Burst. Since it will be necessary to have Solgaleo and Lunalato to unlock Necrozma’s alternate forms, a Redditor commented in the post speculating on whether the Legendary duo could eventually have Raids at the GO Fest 2024.
The addition of Necrozma’s fusion mechanic to Pokemon GO is exciting information, but it comes with a few questions. The leak doesn’t reveal whether the fusion between Necrozma and Solgaleo/Lunala is permanent or temporary, and in the case of a reversal, there is no information on whether there is a cost in materials to do so. Another point is that the leak doesn’t reveal what happens to the stats of the fused Pokemon, or whether fusing a shiny Necrozma will require a shiny Solgaleo/Lunala. With some time left until the start of Pokemon GO Fest 2024, the expectation is that new information will appear before then.
