Pokemon GO has revealed plans for a June Community Day event, which will put the focus on Frigibax, a Dragon/Ice-type from the Paldea region. Community Day events have become a beloved part of Pokemon GO over the years, because they offer a number of in-game bonuses during a short window. Most importantly, players have an increased chance of encountering the highlighted Pokemon’s Shiny variant.

Pokemon GO‘s Frigibax Community Day event will take place on Saturday, June 20 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. local time. During that time, Frigibax will be appearing much more frequently in the wild, and players will have an increased chance of finding either a Shiny version, or one with a special background. Players that evolve an Arctibax during the event or up to four hours after will receive a Baxcalibur that knows the Featured Attack Glaive Rush. Other bonuses include double Candy and triple Stardust on all catches. Players over level 31 will also have a doubled chance of getting XL Candy.
