Pokemon Pokopia is adding at least 31 new Pokemon with the Bubbly Basin DLC, and now there is a full list. Pokemon Pokopia is soon releasing the first part of its Expansion Pass, with the Bubbly Basin DLC coming on August 5, followed by Part 2 later this year, and finally Part 3 sometime in 2027. The game has been one of the most successful and well-reviewed of 2026 so far, and it ranks as one of the best Pokemon games of all time by reception and average score on Metacritic.
Based on recent posts on social media from The Pokemon Company, Pokemon Pokopia‘s dress-up feature will allow players to customize the appearance of Pokemon in their town, as well as Ditto’s looks, with new wearable accessories and clothing. This feature will come with Part 2 of the Expansion Pass, so it’s a bit farther away. As for Bubbly Basin, fans can expect a new underwater town and area to explore, blocks for aquatic buildings, the Sharpedo submarine, new crops to farm, and a bunch of new Pokemon with a focus on Water-types.
Say Hello to 31 New Pokemon in Pokemon Pokopia
A list of new critters was compiled by popular community creators Makio and JRoses on their website, pokeos.com, and it features 31 new Pokemon coming to Pokopia with the Bubbly Basin DLC. The list actually comprises 20 Pokemon rather than 31, but when considering their pre-evolutions and evolutions, the number grows. So far, Pokemon Pokopia‘s Pokedex has never included Pokemon without their pre-evolutions and/or evolutions, so it makes sense to follow the same rule with the Bubbly Basin DLC. The list includes:
- Starmie
- Totodile
- Chinchou
- Lanturn
- Corsola
- Mudkip
- Marshtomp
- Carvanha
- Sharpedo
- Corphish
- Feebas
- Milotic
- Buizel
- Lumineon
- Manaphy
- Frillish
- Popplio
- Primarina
- Golisopod
- Dhelmise
As such, the game is basically confirmed to include the missing critters from each evolutionary line. These are:
- Staryu
- Croconaw
- Feraligatr
- Swampert
- Crawdaunt
- Floatzel
- Finneon
- Phione
- Jellicent (presumably both male and female)
- Brionne
- Wimpod

It’s worth noting that Feebas and Milotic will be in Pokemon Pokopia starting August 13, rather than at Bubbly Basin’s launch, as they will be event-exclusive. The only Pokemon that may not feature on launch from this list is Phione, as it’s a rare Pokemon that may be reserved for future events. All the first 20 Pokemon were officially confirmed via social media posts, trailers, and screenshots, whereas the remaining 11 are basically guaranteed due to being pre-evolutions and/or evolutions of the first 20 critters.
For those who are still looking to get the game, there is a new Switch 2 bundle with Pokemon Pokopia for just $499.99, which is going to be even more of a big deal closer to the date of the price increase for the console in the US, happening in September. It’s also worth mentioning that all past event-exclusive Pokemon in Pokopia can be obtained right now, as fans can simply change their Switch 2’s date and time to when the event was active.
Those who missed out on the recent Pokemon Pokopia event for Jirachi can still get the Pokemon with this method, and it works for all other releases so far. Likewise, those who want to get their hands on Feebas and Milotic but won’t be able to play on August 13 will later be able to get them.
