A Pokemon Pokopia player has built an amazingly accurate Taco Bell restaurant in their game, complete with the real logo, menus, and even a drive-thru. The new spin-off of the long-running monster-catching franchise has seen a variety of wacky fan creations, even just weeks after its highly anticipated release in early March. Pokopia fans have built everything from automated resource farms to massive recreations of iconic Pokemon locations, like Johto’s Bell Tower, in the laid-back sandbox game. Many fans have also used the game to craft some impressive recreations of real-world settings.
Similar to games like Minecraft, Pokopia‘s expansive building system has led many fans to replicate places from the real world within the game. Popular brands like Walmart and Olive Garden have been the subject of in-game builds, as players try to capture the feel of some of the most well-known stores and restaurants. Many fans have even taken their builds a step further, including one fan who built a fully working subway and metro station in Pokopia. Now, one creative fan is showing off their own stunning re-imagining of a Taco Bell within the Pokemon world.

Pokopia Player Builds an In-Game Taco Bell
Pokopia player carlycalamity shared their impressive creation on the game’s unofficial subreddit. The post included a multitude of images of the Taco Bell build, beginning with a shot of the restaurant’s interior with a full parking lot. The Pokopia restaurant featured a similar layout to many of the chain’s real-world locations, replicating Taco Bell’s neon lighting on the counters and using a pair of tablets to represent the self-ordering kiosks. The stunning creation used TVs to give the feel of the menu boards at Taco Bell restaurants, showing in-game food items on-screen and even painstakingly recreating the Taco Bell logo for one image. The user even revealed that the restaurant features a working drive-thru, using rails and a Handcar to simulate the experience.

The creator shared more details about the Pokopia Taco Bell build in the replies to their post. The user shared that the logo depicted on one screen inside the in-game Taco Bell took several hours to create, translating a pixelated logo into in-game blocks. One fan of the user suggested that the game should let players share builds with other Pokopia players online, with many others echoing the sentiment of wanting the Taco Bell in their own village. Some fans also joked about the humorous position of some Pokemon within the post, including Pikachu sitting on a cutting board in the restaurant.
Pokopia‘s wealth of impressive fan builds comes as the game has given players no shortage of tools at their disposal. The game showers players with a variety of unique decorations throughout the course of the sandbox game, from its in-game shop to the multitude of Lost Relics scattered around the map. Fans can also use the 3D printer found in Pokopia‘s Pokemon Centers to make copies of items captured in photos with the in-game camera. Pokopia even gives fans a fully open setting to create within the game, introducing Palette Town as a non-story area that also serves as the game’s main multiplayer hub.
Pokopia‘s creative freedom has been a major part of the game’s early success, winning over Pokemon fans early into its life. Pokopia sold over 2 million units within just four days of its release, already becoming the fourth-best-selling game on the Nintendo Switch 2. Pokopia also holds particularly high honors as part of the Pokemon franchise, dethroning Pokemon Y on release to become the highest-rated Pokemon game of all time on Metacritic. Pokopia has already been a hit for Omega Force and The Pokemon Company and looks primed to maintain its popularity well into the future.
