A clever Pokemon Pokopia player built a massive Sudowoodo structure using multiple Inflatable Sudowoodos from the recent April Fools event. Pokemon Pokopia recently ran a limited-time event, where players were rewarded a free Inflatable Sudowoodo.
Pokemon Pokopia has a wide variety of decorative items that players can use to spruce up Pokemon’s habitats and the many islands in the game. Since launching in March, it has already held two limited-time events that gave out various items. The most recent was the April Fools event called the “Copycat Challenge,” where players had to guess who their Pokemon friends were impersonating. After answering three questions correctly, the prize was an Inflatable Sudowoodo that was only available to claim for 24 hours.

Pokemon Pokopia Player Shows Off Inflatable Sudowoodo Creation
For players who weren’t able to claim the Inflatable Sudowoodo, they can reverse the time on their Switch 2 to April 1, 2026, anytime after 5am to do the Copycat Challenge. After doing the missions, they can get the Inflatable Sudowoodo via the Pokemon Center PC.
The lucky players who were able to complete the Copycat Challenge and claim their Inflatable Sudowoodo have shared silly photos and videos of it dancing in the wind. Many also used Pokemon Pokopia‘s 3D Printer to make multiple copies of the fun decor. Meanwhile, Twitter user TokenFemaleVGC took her love for Sudowoodo to the next level and built a giant statue of the Gen 2 Pokemon using Inflatable Sudowoodos. In a short Twitter video, the player showed off the full scale of their creation using Ditto’s Magnet Rise ability. They didn’t specify how many Inflatable Sudowoodos were used, but based on the video, it could be close to a hundred or more.
Many Pokemon Pokopia fans online were impressed with TokenFemaleVGC’s Sudowoodo statue, with some saying that they expected players to do it when the Inflatable Sudowoodo became available and were happy to see that someone actually pulled through. Pokemon Pokopia‘s building tools have allowed fans to be creative with how they decorate their islands and the homes for their Pokemon friends. For example, one Pokemon Pokopia player recreated Ash Ketchum’s home, complete with a Mr. Mime tending the garden like in the animated series.
Future Pokemon Pokopia Events and Updates
Although it’s still a new game, many players already have high hopes for Pokemon Pokopia‘s future updates. The next major event will be a Sableye event from April 29 to May 14, which will allow players to befriend the Dark/Ghost-type Pokemon. Players can expect more events in the coming months, which could include introducing more Pokemon and potentially opening up new areas to explore. In fact, there’s already speculation about a Pokopia DLC that could be set in Sevii Islands, an archipelago that was first introduced in Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen, but neither Game Freak nor Omega Force have commented about a possible expansion.
Nonetheless, it’s already clear that many people love Pokemon Pokopia even without the plethora of new content. Just four days after launching, Pokopia had already sold over 2.2 million copies worldwide, which also contributed to Nintendo’s stock jumping by 15%. And in just a month, players from every corner of the world have shared thousands of posts about how they decorated their islands and the fun interactions they’ve had with their Pokemon friends. Pokemon Pokopia is further proof that the cozy life simulation genre is still very popular among avid gamers, especially those who are looking for an alternate to The Sims, Animal Crossing, and other similar titles that allow their creativity to flow.
