Time is running out for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players to snag a rare critter for their collection. Although Pokemon Winds and Waves has the attention of the Pokemon community at the moment as the official debut of Gen 10, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet still offer plenty of new content and opportunities to catch rare and powerful creatures. For a limited time, players can get an elusive version of a popular Pokemon before it’s gone for good.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet‘s 7-Star Tera Raids have been a consistent source of endgame challenges that offer unique Pokemon with the rare Mightiest Mark as rewards. While these can be some of the toughest battles in all Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, they are worth teaming up with friends online to try and take down. The Pseudo-Legendary Pokemon Hydreigon is now available to challenge for the chance to catch one with the Mightiest Mark, but only until November 5.
Mightiest Mark Hydreigon Available in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Raids Until November 5
From October 30 to November 5, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is offering players the chance to catch a Poison Tera-Type Hydreigon with the Mightiest Mark through its current 7-Star Tera Raid event. This is the third time this specific version of Hydreigon has been featured in a 7-Star Tera Raid, with previous appearances in two different raid events back in November 2025. With Pokemon Winds and Waves projected for a Fall 2027 release date, Scarlet and Violet are likely to be outdated by next November, meaning this could be the last chance players have to get this Mightiest Mark Hydreigon.

How to Beat 7-Star Hydreigon Raid
Taking down this Hydreigon won’t be an easy feat, but players with the right Pokemon can make it manageable. Hydreigon is a Poison Tera-Type and comes with the Levitate Ability, meaning typically super-effective Ground-Type attacks won’t be able to hit it. Instead, a strong Psychic-Type Pokemon like Malamar or Gallade will be most effective. Malamar can use Skill Swap to get rid of Hydreigon’s Levitate, allowing Ground-Type attacks from partners to hit it, while Gallade with the Sharpness Ability can deal massive damage with its STAB Psycho Cut attack.
Another option is to use Excadrill with Mold Breaker, allowing it to bypass Hydreigon’s Levitate and hit it with super-effective Ground-Type attacks like Earthquake. Hydreigon will constantly use stat-boosting moves like Nasty Plot and Dragon Dance, which can be a major threat to Excadrill given its weak Special Defense stat. As such, a raid partner Pokemon like Gardevoir with Light Screen to mitigate Special Attack damage and Life Dew to heal Excadrill is a necessity for this strategy.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are continuing the Pseudo-Legendary Tera Raid trend to close out the rest of 2026. After Hydreigon, Goodra will be the focus of 7-Star Tera Raids from November 6–13, followed by Kommo-o from November 13–20, Dragapult from November 20–27, and Baxcalibur from November 27–December 4. Players won’t want to miss what might be their last chance to add these Mightiest Mark Pokemon to their collections.
