Pokemon TCG Pocket‘s October update confirmed it will officially introduce dual-type Pokemon cards to the mobile version of the beloved trading card game. The new cards will likely coincide with the second anniversary festivities for Pokemon TCG Pocket.
Pokemon TCG Pocket is Adding Dual-Type Cards
Pokemon TCG Pocket officially revealed the new dual-type cards being added to the game at PokemonXP. Some Pokemon featured in one of Pokemon TCG Pocket‘s next sets will have more than one type, with the card’s color split down the middle between each type. The teaser trailer does not provide any specifics about how dual-type Pokemon will work in the mobile TCG, though it might mean that dual-type Pokemon will gain bonus damage against Pokemon that are weak to either type with their attacks. The Psychic/Fighting-type Mega Mewtwo X ex was also revealed as the first dual-type Pokemon card coming in the game’s October set, though an official release date has not been confirmed.
