New Pokemon Winds and Waves leaks surface online, including the games’ Pokedex, the available regional forms and battle gimmick forms, an MMO-like approach, and more. Considering that the Nintendo Switch 2 cannot be datamined, fans expected no leaks from Pokemon Winds and Waves for a while, but things are quickly changing for the Gen 10 games. More and more leaks are appearing online recently, and from reliable sources, too.
Pokemon Winds and Waves’ Pokedex, Regional Forms, and Battle Gimmick Forms Leak Online
Pokemon Winds and Waves‘ Pokedex will include 530 species, a Salandit cross-gen evolution that’s Poison/Dragon, special battle forms for Arcanine, Kecleon, Lucario, and Pikachu, and MMO-lite features for online gameplay. According to recent leaks, Pokemon Winds and Waves will have 300 new Pokemon, which is an astounding number and almost double that of the largest generations in the series (Gen 5 with 156 Pokemon and Gen 1 with 151, respectively). If these leaks are true, then Pokemon Winds and Waves will have around 230 returning Pokemon and 300 new species. It remains to be seen if the “300 new Pokemon” leak includes special forms or not.
Every New Pokemon Winds and Waves Leak
- 530 Pokemon in the Pokedex, with roughly 300 new species.
- Regional evolution for Salandit, Poison/Dragon.
- Battle gimmick forms for Pikachu, Arcanine, Kecleon, Lucario, and seven new Gen 10 Pokemon.
- Pokemon Winds and Waves‘ story will have three main plotlines, like Gen 9, and it will be “the most personable” to date.
- The games will have MMO-like features for online play. Pokemon Winds and Waves information from the Teraleak last year included an MMO-like lobby on the first island, the hotel where players start their journey.
- Lt. Surge’s son is part of the game and uses his father’s Raichu. It’s unclear if this Raichu will Mega Evolve.
- Voice acting was planned for Gen 10, but it seems to be absent from current builds leakers have access to.
- Many developers have reportedly already moved on to work on Gen 10’s DLC.
