Pokemon Winds and Waves Leak Details New Forms for Legendaries

According to leaker Light_88_ on X, Pokemon Winds and Waves‘s box art Legendaries are going to play a more important role in both the story and gameplay of the Gen 10 games than any previous Pokemon generation. This is a massive claim given how pivotal Koraidon and Miraidon were to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet‘s story. However, the Gen 9 box art Legendaries were largely disconnected from the Terastallization mechanic, whereas Winds and Waves‘s new Legendary are supposedly receiving unique forms directly related to the Gen 10 battle gimmick.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet‘s Terapagos is the Legendary associated with the Terastallization mechanic, which didn’t debut until The Indigo Disk DLC.
