The PlayStation Plus catalog has expanded with Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and four more titles. This marks the second wave of additions to Sony’s subscription service in July 2026, with a third batch of PS Plus games already confirmed to arrive within days.
The July lineup continues Sony’s novel practice of spreading PS Plus Extra and Premium releases throughout the month rather than adding them all at once. The rollout began on July 15 with Rise of the Ronin, Team Ninja’s popular open-world soulslike. Six days later, four more titles have followed suit.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and 3 More Games Now Available on PS Plus
The July 21 batch of PS Plus games features Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Firefighting Simulator: Ignite, Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy, and Indigo Prophecy. The former two are available to Extra-tier subscribers, while the latter duo consists of classic titles that require a PS Plus Premium membership to play.
New PS Plus Extra and Premium Games Today
- Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora (PS5) [Extra, Premium]
- Firefighting Simulator: Ignite (PS5) [Extra, Premium]
- Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy (PS4, PS5) [Premium]
- Indigo Prophecy (PS4) [Premium]
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and Firefighting Simulator: Ignite are both native PS5 releases. Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy has both a PS4 and PS5 version, while Indigo Prophecy is a PS4 port. Ubisoft’s latest Avatar game headlines the July 21 content drop in terms of technical ambition and overall budget. While its 2023 launch elicited mixed reviews, Frontiers of Pandora has since earned a reputation as one of the best licensed open-world games in recent history.

Four more games are scheduled to join PS Plus in July 2026. The remaining batch includes top-down action platformer Snow Bros. Wonderland and narrative-driven cyberpunk RPG Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector. Open-world survival horror game Dying Light is also part of the Wave 3 lineup, as is Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind, a colorful retro-style beat ’em up by Californian studio Digital Eclipse. All four are due to debut on July 28.
Looking ahead, PlayStation Plus already has two confirmed titles for August 2026. One is Big Walk, a day-one co-op puzzler that reflects the continued rise of so-called “friendslop” games. The other is Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams, Capcom’s 2006 action RPG that was recently confirmed to be expanding the PS Plus Premium tier-exclusive catalog of classics.
