Yet another PlayStation Plus update went live on October 27, introducing three more titles, including the Halloween-coded Poppy Playtime: Chapter 2. The trio’s arrival formally rounds out the PS Plus Extra and Premium roadmap for October 2026.
Since pivoting to staggered monthly releases in June, Sony’s subscription service has averaged roughly three waves of new titles every 30 days. That cadence briefly accelerated last month, with the PS Plus September 2026 lineup featuring ten games spread across four waves. October, however, marks an immediate reversal to the mean.

The third and final wave of PS Plus Extra and Premium games for October 2026 is another three-pack, comprising Tales of Arise – Beyond the Dawn Edition, Poppy Playtime: Chapter 2, and Monster Energy Supercross 25 – The Official Video Game. All three are joining Sony’s subscription catalog for the first time and are likely to remain there until at least spring 2027, based on the typical duration of PS Plus licensing deals.

Regularly priced at $59.99, Monster Energy Supercross 25 is the most valuable game in the October 27 PS Plus wave. It also stands apart from the other two arrivals as the only one to offer multiplayer, with two-player couch co-op and local PvP alongside a variety of online modes supporting up to 16 players.
With this final catalog update officially out, the higher-tiered editions of Sony’s subscription service have now received nine new titles throughout October. That is without accounting for the latest batch of PS Plus monthly games available since October 6. Consisting of F1 25, Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2, and Hunt: Showdown 1896, the lineup can still be claimed in parts or in full until November 2.
In the meantime, Sony’s religiously consistent announcement cadence strongly suggests that the company will officially reveal the PS Plus Essential monthly games for November 2026 on October 28. That pattern also makes it possible to predict that the complimentary offers will run between November 3 and 30, i.e., from the month’s first Tuesday through its final Monday.
