PlayStation Plus has added Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound and two more titles to its Extra and Premium content catalogs. The new arrivals officially mark the fourth and final wave of PS Plus releases for September 2026.
September marks the fourth consecutive month in which Sony has rolled out its monthly PS Plus library updates in stages rather than all at once, a strategy the company expects will improve customer retention and, ultimately, revenue. The previous wave of releases arrived on September 22, when Slitterhead and Ball x Pit joined the service.
New PS Plus Extra and Premium Games Today, September 29
- Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound (PS4, PS5) [Extra, Premium]
- Dungeons of Hinterberg (PS4, PS5) [Extra, Premium]
- Sniper Elite: Resistance (PS4, PS5) [Extra, Premium]
The final batch of titles is now also available, having debuted on Tuesday, September 29. Apart from Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound, the month’s final batch includes Sniper Elite: Resistance and Dungeons of Hinterberg. That makes for a motley collection of titles likely to appeal to a broad audience, especially considering how much variety PS Plus has already introduced throughout September 2026. The three end-of-month arrivals are available on the Premium and Extra plans.

The September 29 wave of PS Plus games has a combined retail value of $107.97. None has previously been available through Sony’s service, which is unsurprising given that the two-year-old Dungeons of Hinterberg is the oldest of the group. The 2024 title also stands out for its distinctive comic-book visuals and eclectic gameplay, which draws inspiration from modern The Legend of Zelda and Persona games alike.
More PS Plus Games Are Just Around the Corner
October 6 is the next notable date for Sony’s subscribers, as that is when the next PS Plus monthly games become available to claim. Unlike the staggered catalog additions, these titles are offered across all subscription tiers and must be redeemed within their one-month availability window. Once added to a library, they remain accessible whenever the membership is active, including after a lapse and subsequent renewal.
In terms of other upcoming catalog updates, Sony has recently confirmed that looter shooter Mycopunk would be added to PS Plus Extra and Premium on October 14. The full lineup of new October additions is also expected to be announced that day, as Sony has historically unveiled its monthly catalog updates on the second Wednesday of each month.
