PlayStation Plus has added Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector and three more titles to its ever-revolving content catalog. The four arrivals make up the third wave of PS Plus additions in July 2026.
Staggered releases are something Sony’s subscribers may still be getting used to. Although its PlayStation service used them on an occasion during its first 16 years on the market, it wasn’t until June 2026 that Sony announced phased releases as the new PS Plus standard. The newly revised policy defaults to having PS Plus games arrive in several smaller waves rather than just one large batch per month. Company officials said the change was mainly intended to test ways to increase engagement with PS Plus, which could improve subscriber retention and, ultimately, Sony’s bottom line.

The third and final wave of July 2026 additions to Sony’s subscription library has officially rolled out Tuesday, July 28. Like the previous, July 21 batch of PS Plus Extra and Premium games, it consists of four titles: Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind, Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector, Snow Bros. Wonderland, and Dying Light.

It Won’t Turn RPG Haters Into Fans, But Starward Vector Will Impress Just About Everyone Else
The critical standout in the July 2026 catalog, Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector meaningfully improves on its acclaimed predecessor, surpassing it in terms of both gameplay possibilities and critical consensus. It holds an average score of 87 on OpenCritic, based on 84 reviews, placing it nine points above the next-highest-rated game in the monthly PS Plus lineup. Starward Vector also leads July’s additions in PS Store user scores, with an average rating of 4.77 stars based on 473 reviews.
The rest of the July 28 group focuses more heavily on action and multiplayer. Dying Light supports online play for up to four people, while Snow Bros. Wonderland boasts local couch co-op for up to four people. The latest Mighty Morphin Power Rangers game, first released in late 2024, supports both couch co-op and PvP for up to four people and one-on-one online battles.
The July 2026 lineup of PS Plus Extra and Premium games introduced nine titles altogether, which Sony spread out relatively evenly throughout the second half of the month. Although the company is experimenting with a new content cadence as of summer 2026, it is maintaining its long-standing announcement schedule for the time being. Sony thus still reveals upcoming PS Plus Extra and Premium games roughly once per month, usually on the second Wednesday. Based on that pattern, the next announcement is expected on August 12, 2026.
