The PlayStation Plus library has expanded to include Metro Exodus and four other titles. The five arrivals mark the third and final wave of PS Plus additions for August 2026.
Helldivers 2 was the first new title to join Sony’s content catalog this month, having arrived on August 12. Six days later, PS Plus added four other games: Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, Vampire Survivors, Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams, and Disney’s Atlantis: The Lost Empire.

The final monthly wave of PS Plus games officially rolled out in the early morning hours local time on August 25. It expands Sony’s on-demand game library with five titles: Dying Light 2 Stay Human, Two Point Museum, Metro Exodus, Hell is Us, and Umamusume: Pretty Derby – Party Dash. The entirety of the August 25 batch is available to both PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers.

Two Point Museum Expands the PS Plus Cozy Games Library
Two Point Museum ranks as the most critically acclaimed title in the August 2026 Wave 3 lineup, both among professional critics and players. It holds an average score of 85 on OpenCritic and a 4.69-star rating on the PS Store, having received widespread praise for its charming visuals and engaging mechanics centered on running a museum and organizing expeditions searching for rare artifacts. Two Point Museum is also the third and most refined take on Two Point Studios’ cozy management sim formula to date.
The August 2026 lineup includes several notable returns to Sony’s subscription service. Dying Light 2 Stay Human was previously available through the PS Plus Extra and Premium catalog from November 2024 to July 2025, and it returned again as an Essential-tier monthly game earlier in August 2026. Subscribers can still claim it through August 31. Metro Exodus, meanwhile, was previously part of the Extra and Premium catalog from August 2022 to February 2023.
Looking ahead, August 26 is the next date PS Plus users may want to mark on their calendars. Based on Sony’s established practices, it is the likeliest date for the company to officially announce the Essential-tier monthly games for September 2026. The lineup is expected to become available to claim on September 1.
