PlayStation Plus members on PS5 and PS4 have until August to claim a freebie cosmetic pack with four premium items for Rocket League. While PlayStation Plus is best known for its monthly free games, this time it’s offering something different.
On June 30, PS Plus gets its final batch of free games for the month, with Black Desert, Farming Simulator 25, and Blades of Fire joining the lineup. PlayStation is also expected to reveal the next batch of PS Plus games on Wednesday, July 1. While waiting for that announcement, PS Plus members can claim a free bundle from the PlayStation Store that lets them look even more stylish in Rocket League.
PS Plus Extra Update Just Added 2 More Games
Sony adds two more games to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium, raising June 2026’s lineup to five titles, with more still to come.
Rocket League Premium Cosmetic Pack Is Free for PS Plus Members
Until August 5, 2026, PlayStation users with an active PS Plus subscription can claim four premium cosmetic items for Rocket League: the Heatwave Premium Animated Decal, Cristiano PW Premium Wheels, Rooster Comb PW Premium Topper, and Fractal Fire Premium Booster. After claiming the bundle from the PlayStation Store, players can head to the in-game Garage menu and select Customize Car. From there, they can find each item in its respective category: Decal, Wheels, Topper, and Booster.
The free PS Plus bundle can also be claimed through Rocket League‘s Add-Ons menu on PS4 and PS5.

It is important to remember that Rocket League may not mark the newly claimed items with a badge in the Garage. If the cosmetics do not appear right away, restarting the game is recommended to ensure they are added to the account. Players can also use the search function in the customization menu to locate the items if they do not appear near the top of their respective cosmetic lists.
PlayStation users should also note that Rocket League is free to play on the PS Store, so claiming the bundle does not require purchasing the base game. Thanks to Epic Games’ cross-game features, some of the items included in the free PS Plus pack may also become available in Fortnite‘s Sports Car section. It is also worth noting that the pack has been well received so far, earning an average user rating of 4.35 stars from more than 800 reviews.
Epic Games and developer Psyonix recently revealed that Rocket League is entering a new era, with the game set to receive an Unreal Engine 6 upgrade. While few details have been shared about the overhaul, it is expected to deliver the current-gen visuals many PS5 fans have been asking for. The short teaser for the makeover was captured in real time using the game, so the improved lighting effects and more realistic car textures showcased there should be a good indication of what players can expect.
