The PS Plus free games for May 2026 may be on their way out on June 2, but in an unusual move, the headlining game is lingering a little longer. Because of this, PS Plus subscribers have added time to claim a bonus freebie offer, but make no mistake, both the game and the freebie need to be claimed by June 16.
On June 2, the official PS Plus Essential games for the month will be Grounded: Fully Yoked Edition (PS5/PS4), Nickelodeon: All-Star Brawl 2 (PS5/PS4), and Warhammer 40K: Darktide (PS5). Overall, it’s a solid selection with a popular open-world survival game, a fun platform fighting game, and a solid FPS game set in the Warhammer universe. They replace the PS Plus free games for May on June 2, which include EA Sports FC 26 (PS4/PS5), Wuchang: Fallen Feathers (PS5), and Nine Sols (PS4/PS5). However, EA Sports FC 26 isn’t completely leaving the service quite yet.
PS Plus Users Get Extended Time with EA Sports FC 26 & Can Claim a Freebie For It
EA Sports FC 26 remains available through June 16, instead of leaving on June 2, because of The World’s Game update on June 4. Giving possible fans extra time to claim it makes sense, as this update introduces a new international tournament mode with 48 national teams and new authentic stadiums. During this time, PS Plus users can also pick up the free add-on entitlement EA Sports FC 26 PlayStation Plus Icons Pack, with it now set to expire at 9 am PT/12 pm ET on June 16.

It’s worth noting that PS Plus users who previously purchased and outright own EA Sports FC 26, yet are also PS Plus subscribers, are capable of claiming this bonus freebie. It comes with plenty of possible content for players, making it a nice little addition to the typical PS Plus subscription:
