Resident Evil Generation Pack On Switch 2 Is An Great $90 Deal

Resident Evil Generation Pack On Switch 2 Is An Great Deal

If you own a Nintendo Switch 2 and want to play the recently released Resident Evil Requiem as well as the last two mainline games in the series, you should buy Capcom’s new “Generation Pack” before it goes away at the end of the month. Why? Because it’s one of the wildest deals I’ve seen on Switch 2 for a brand new AAA video game.

Last week, Capcom released the excellent Resident Evil Requiem on Switch 2 as well as its two survival horror predecessors: Resident Evil 7: Biohazard and Resident Evil Village. These are fantastic, native ports of two very good horror games and make up for the crappy cloud-streaming versions that landed on the OG Switch. And you can get all three of these games, including the just-released Resident Evil Requiem, on Nintendo Switch 2 for $90 via the newly released Generation Pack on Switch 2.

Normally, if you bought all three of these games separately on Switch 2, it would cost you $160. Requiem alone is $70. But because Capcom seems determined to build up a big audience of Resident Evil fans on Switch 2, the company has bundled all three of them up into a $90 version, complete with all of 7 and Village‘s DLC, too. This Generation Pack is available digitally or physically, though keep in mind the physical version includes Game Key Cards that need the internet to function. Still, if you buy the physical version, you can take two individually packaged games and either sell them later or lend them to a friend or sibling. That’s nifty!

One important thing to note is that if you are interested in buying this Resident Evil Generation Pack bundle, digitally or physically, you need to act fast. Capcom will stop offering it at the end of March. People are also reporting that physical copies of the pack are selling out at stores. So if you want to take advantage of this hot deal, don’t wait too long.
