Capcom has released a new update for Resident Evil Requiem, which brings the game up to version 1.3.1. Resident Evil Requiem was released in February, arriving on PlayStation 5, Xbox, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2. Resident Evil Requiem brought back Leon S. Kennedy as one playable character, alongside newcomer Grace Ashcroft the second playable character. Leon’s gameplay focuses more on action than survival horror, which is highlighted in both the main game and DLC.
Resident Evil Requiem added free DLC called Leon Must Die Forever in May, and most of the changes in the game’s 1.3.1 update relate to the mode. The developers seem to have made certain aspects a little bit easier, while also enhancing some of Leon’s skills. Outside Leon Must Die Forever, it seems that Capcom has also resolved some issues in the base game. The company has not offered specific information about what has been fixed, but it’s possible players will be able to learn more as they spend time with the update.
