PlayStation 5 gamers have a busy day ahead of them, thanks to a particularly stacked Tuesday, September 15. New PlayStation 5 games release on a regular basis, but most of the time, the releases are fairly spread out. However, there are times when multiple PS5 games release all at once, giving gamers on the platform plenty of options when they are looking for a new game to play.
There have been quite a few busy days for PS5 gamers lately, and that’s thanks to a combination of things. For one, we are officially at the start of the fall gaming rush, with many publishers historically releasing games in the September to November release window. Secondly, the GTA 6 November 19 launch has pushed publishers to release even more in September than they may have otherwise, so it’s a pretty cramped month when it comes to new PS5 game releases. That’s especially evident by September 15, which has four new games set to launch for PS5 at the same time.

The four new PS5 games releasing on Tuesday, September 15 are Marvel’s Wolverine, RuneScape: Dragonwilds, TCG Card Shop Simulator, and Train Sim World 7. Marvel’s Wolverine is the latest installment in Insomniac’s lineup of Marvel video games, while RuneScape: Dragonwilds is an open world co-op survival game set in RuneScape‘s fantasy world. TCG Card Shop Simulator and Train Sim World 7 are exactly as their names describe — the former is a trading card game shop simulator and the latter is a train simulator.
The headlining new PS5 game coming out on September 15 is definitely Marvel’s Wolverine from Insomniac Games. Wolverine reviews have been somewhat mixed, with some having a great time with the game’s brutal combat and others disappointed by its linearity. Regardless, Wolverine is a PS5 game that has been hyped up for years, and it’s great that it’s finally set to release.
RuneScape: Dragonwilds, meanwhile, is something else that PS5 gamers will want to keep an eye on. RuneScape: Dragonwilds has been very well-received in early access on PC, and it will even be playable in its entirety through the PS Plus Extra library. RuneScape: Dragonwilds has a ton of potential to be one of the biggest PS Plus additions of the year when it launches on September 15.
This coming week is going to be a busy one for PlayStation 5 gamers in general, beyond the new games that are releasing on September 15. Just a day later, on September 16, Aniimo will be releasing on PS5. For the uninitiated, Aniimo is a new open world co-op game that takes direct inspiration from Nintendo’s Pokemon franchise. The twist is that Aniimo is free-to-play, and players can actually transform into the creatures they collect. It’s an interesting take on the monster-catching genre, and it will be exciting to see how it shakes out on PS5.
