Respawn Entertainment’s third Star Wars Jedi game may be targeting a 2027 release, with a new leak also suggesting its marketing campaign could begin much sooner than expected. Among Star Wars fans, the Jedi franchise has become exceptionally popular, and the third installment is set to serve as the final chapter in Cal Kestis’ story.
Star Wars Jedi 3 Could Be Coming in 2027
On Twitter, Star Wars scooper FivesWalker has now claimed that Jedi 3 is planned for release sometime in 2027 and that marketing for the game will begin “sooner than you think.” When discussing how early that campaign could start, the leaker said they would personally bet on marketing activity beginning before The Game Awards 2026 in December. FivesWalker is a relatively new leaker, so fans should take that rumor with a grain of salt and not necessarily treat it as full confirmation that Jedi 3 will be at the event, or even be revealed this year at all. As of now, neither EA, Respawn Entertainment, nor Lucasfilm Games has officially announced a 2027 window for the upcoming Star Wars Jedi sequel.
