Stardew Valley developer ConcernedApe recently posted an update regarding the status of the upcoming game Haunted Chocolatier. Although Stardew Valley fans might be eager to see what ConcernedApe has cooking for his follow-up to the massively successful indie farming sim, the developer is asking fans to wait just a bit longer, but notes that he has been very productive on Haunted Chocolatier as of late. There is not currently a release window for Haunted Chocolatier, but ConcernedApe assures fans the game will be worth the wait.
ConcernedApe Gives Progress Update on Haunted Chocolatier
In a blog post on the official Haunted Chocolatier website, Eric “ConcernedApe” Barone shared the current status of the game’s development. While ConcernedApe didn’t have any substantial new details to share, he is very eager and driven by the development of Haunted Chocolatier and strives to create a game that he personally enjoys playing. He goes on to say that he’s really enjoying playing the game even in its unfinished state, largely thanks to some recent additions that he doesn’t elaborate on.
“My goal is to make a game that I am proud of and personally enjoy. And I am certain, at this point, that I will enjoy the game when it is finished. In fact, I already enjoy playing it in its unfinished state, especially after some recent additions I made… I hope others will like it too when it’s ready.”
