The Emberville voice cast has expanded to include Ben Starr, Jennifer English, Matthew Mercer, and 15 other performers. The star-studded expansion was confirmed mere months ahead of Emberville‘s early access launch.
The debut title from Irish studio Cygnus Cross, Emberville is an action RPG with inspirations ranging from Stardew Valley to Diablo. It tasks players with rebuilding the titular town of Emverville and freeing themselves from malevolent forces in the process. An example of the so-called farm-and-fight RPG subgenre, Emberville is currently scheduled to launch as a Steam Early Access title on October 27, 2026.
Emberville Reveals Full Voice Cast in Playful Video
Ahead of the upcoming launch, Cygnus Cross shared a playful video revealing 18 new performers joining the Emberville voice cast. Alongside Starr, English, and Mercer, the newly announced performers include Nick Apostolides, Elias Toufexis, Briana White, Anjali Bhimani, Harry McEntire, David Menkin, Rich Keeble, Kirsty Rider, LilyPichu, Dillon Francis, Alex Ponton, Cahla “Cahlaflour” Thorman, Michael Bryan, and Lucy Elliott. The Irish studio did not disclose which characters the new cast members will play.
Cygnus Cross previously announced several other high-profile additions to the Emberville cast, including Geralt of Rivia voice actor Doug Cockle and Baldur’s Gate 3 narrator Amelia Tyler. The lineup also features Assassin’s Creed Origins star Abubakar Salim and Alex Jordan, known for voicing Mr. Hands in Cyberpunk 2077 and Rook in Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
Looking at the slightly bigger picture, the Emberville cast reveal is notable because Jennifer English just stepped down from Tides of Annihilation, citing health reasons. The timing suggests that the British actress may have already completed her work on Emberville by the time she withdrew from the other project.

Emberville will initially be available only on PC, with console versions planned for release by the time the game reaches version 1.0. Cygnus Cross expects the project to remain in early access for at least one year, suggesting the full release could arrive in late 2027.
