Steam users have until October 12 to add two games worth approximately $13 to their libraries at no cost. Steam’s free-to-keep promotions slowed down toward the end of September. However, things are seemingly picking up, with two simultaneous FTK offers currently available alongside four free DLC bundles.
One interesting detail is that the two games in the current promotion belong to contrasting subgenres. While one is a cozy game, the other is a puzzle game with psychological horror elements. The good news is that despite their differences, both titles are perfect for Halloween night, each in its own unique way.

Released in 2025, Fireside Feelings is a cozy game that works like a messaging app, connecting two players through meaningful conversations. Players remain anonymous, while the campfire sparks discussions by asking icebreaker questions. Fireside Feelings emphasizes that all conversations take place between humans, with no AI involved. Players can also customize their avatars and decorate their campfires.

Claim Pony Island on Steam for Free
The developer describes Pony Island as a “suspense puzzle game in disguise.” It is also categorized as a horror game thanks to its eerie setting and spooky characters. Players find themselves trapped in a cruel world where a malicious force sets the rules. To escape, they must solve cryptic puzzles and riddles designed by the Devil himself. The good news is that Pony Island is getting a sequel in 2027, making this a great opportunity for fans of 2D puzzle games to play the first game for free ahead of the upcoming second installment.

Steam Is Also Giving Away 4 DLC Bundles
Steam users can claim four expansion packs for Gear.Club Unlimited 3, World of Warships, MXGP 26, and Rotwood. Of these, only World of Warships is among the free-to-play games on Steam, while players must own the other three games to benefit from these freebies. However, almost all four games currently have Mixed user reviews on Steam, which is worth keeping in mind before claiming these offers.
