Lenovo is giving Steam users a chance to grab one of the best-reviewed games on the storefront at absolutely no charge, but they need to mark their calendars for September 2. The game in question currently sits at a 98% Overwhelmingly Positive review rating on Steam (with 15K+ user reviews), so getting it for free should ensure fans get a lovely 10/10 experience. Unlike Steam’s Free-to-Keep Promotion, though, this event will take place on one day with a limited supply of keys.
There are a couple of steps in claiming this Steam game for free (listed below), but it’s worth noting that there are no real asterisks or caveats. Lenovo’s giveaways always have a limited supply of Steam keys, so interested players will need to act quickly once the giveaway goes live. Aside from that limited supply factor, players will be able to keep this game forever (or as long as Steam exists, so same thing).

Lenovo’s Legion Gaming Community (LGC) is giving away the narrative game Before Your Eyes on September 2, and it’s not the kind of game that most players will forget about after finishing it. As its name implies, players follow a deceased soul as they look back on the most important moments of their life with a unique twist. As its name implies (again), eyes are an important aspect of the game because players must have a webcam with blinking eyes that determine how the game’s story unfolds. As players die and see the memories of their life, every blink gives one up until they’re all gone.
Find the odd one out before the timer hits zero.
Before Your Eyes is currently scheduled for the next LGC giveaway, making this a good one to keep an eye on for anyone looking for something new to play without spending anything. However, it’s worth noting that LGC often faces technical issues, so users should keep this in mind going in. For example, LGC’s recent giveaway of The Walking Dead Season 1 (the Telltale games) was mired with technical issues.
Before Your Eyes, featuring a 98% Overwhelmingly Positive review rating after 15,000 user reviews, speaks to its quality as a 10/10 masterpiece. That’s not easily obtained. Sometimes folks have issues with short games, but even to those folks, this short narrative game is still a 10/10 and does not slouch anywhere: not in its story, not in its characters, not in its music, not in its art, nowhere.
Overall, it’s a super solid free game giveaway. Free PC games can swing wildly on quality, but rest assured, Before Your Eyes is on the 10/10 end of that pendulum.
