Street Fighter 6 is Adding FF7's Tifa to the Roster

Street Fighter 6 revealed its fourth year of content, with 4 characters joining the roster over the coming year, including official confirmation of Tifa Lockhart from Final Fantasy 7 being the guest character. As many fans rightly predicted, Capcom chose to announce its next year of content for Street Fighter 6 during Geoff Keighley’s annual Summer Game Fest showcase.

While it may have seemed a bit far-fetched at the time, the recent Street Fighter 6 rumors were true, as Capcom confirmed that Tifa Lockhart from Square Enix’s Final Fantasy 7 is officially joining the roster during Year 4. However, some of the other rumored characters were seemingly incorrect as the other confirmed characters are Yasmine and Arjun, brand new characters set to arrive first when Year 4 starts in August. Finally, Bosch will be the fourth addition to the roster, with fans likely remembering him as a key figure in the World Tour mode.
