The One Mortal Shell 2 Tip That Will Change Your Life

A clever Mortal Shell 2 tip lets players retrieve their lost Gloom effortlessly after being defeated. Cold Symmetry’s much-anticipated Mortal Shell 2 was finally released on August 20, and fans are already sharing useful tricks for stress-free runs. The Soulslike’s gameplay combines Shell abilities, melee combat, and ranged weapons to create unique combos. However, players have now discovered another major use of sidearms.

In Mortal Shell 2, players can find different Shells to possess and obtain their combat abilities, but they can also upgrade their weapons to enhance their battle experience. Additionally, fans can level up their Mortal Shell 2 character by using Gloom every time they reach a Beacon. The main method to farm Gloom is defeating enemies, but if players are defeated in combat, they can lose said leveling material. Fortunately for fans, some players have noticed an easy way to reclaim hard-earned Gloom after death.

Mortal Shell 2: Best Weapons Tier List

There are 8 melee weapons in Mortal Shell 2, and upgrading them is a major commitment. Choose wisely.

Mortal Shell 2 Players Can Collect Gloom by Shooting at It

As spotted by Twitter user Ayoehh, fans can retrieve their lost Gloom by simply shooting at it using their sidearm. As seen in the video, after players respawn in the most recent Beacon, they can return to the area where they died in a fight and easily reclaim their Gloom. The best advantage of simply shooting at Gloom is that fans no longer need to approach dangerous areas again if they do not want to. Additionally, fans won’t need to go too far astray from their path either. This incredibly useful tip will certainly make farming Gloom in Mortal Shell 2 a much lighter task.

It is worth noting that shooting at Gloom to reclaim it also works in Boss areas. This might be good news for fans, considering that this type of enemy grants the largest amounts of this leveling currency. This trick arguably adds another fun layer to sidearms in Mortal Shell 2, which not only inflict damage but can also apply unique effects to foes in combat.

This is not the first game-changing trick available in the action RPG that can improve players’ gameplay experience. Another major feature lets fans change their camera setting in Mortal Shell 2 for a wider shot. This lets players see their surroundings better and be prepared for any incoming threat, something particularly handy in a Soulslike title. It will be interesting to see which other Mortal Shell 2 tips and features fans will find and share next.

The expectations for Mortal Shell 2 were high even before its open beta. Earlier in July, publisher Playstack announced that Mortal Shell 2 had sold out its PS5 physical edition, and it was considered one of the most anticipated Soulslike launches of the year. Now that the full game is out, the initial reviews are generally favorable, with critics emphasizing how Mortal Shell 2 learned from its predecessor’s rights and wrongs. The first game sold over a million copies globally. It remains to be seen whether this new entry could surpass this success.
