Nearly 12 full years after its release, The Sims 4 is finally adding the highly requested feature of automatic saves to the game. The new feature will arrive in an upcoming update for The Sims 4, along with some additional improvements that players may be pleased to hear about.
The Sims 4 has unveiled its newest Laundry List, and teased some of the new features and fixes that are coming to the game on July 21, including an AutoSave function. EA says that AutoSave, when enabled, will automatically create save points when doing things like changing lots, after specific milestones, or if a player has simply been in the game for long enough without saving. Gamers who want to maintain control over their game saves will instead have the option of enabling a reminder that pops up to alert them that a certain amount of time has passed and that they should save. In both cases, gamers can customize when the game saves or alerts the player. The Sims 4 Memory Boost feature will also be rolling out to players on all supported platforms, including consoles and Macs.
