A creative fan of both The Sims and South Park has created a perfect tribute to the beloved animated series, re-creating Cartman’s house within the game. The life simulation game has long been an outlet for passionate fans to show off their stunning creations, owing to the expansive freedoms the game allows for characters and construction. The Sims players have used the game’s engines to build everything from extravagant castles to specific locations like Penny’s apartment from The Big Bang Theory and a Fallout Vault.
Since its debut in 1997, South Park has grown into one of the most recognizable animated series in television history. The raunchy comedy following a group of elementary school kids has become a marker for pop culture, often parodying and poking fun at current events. South Park has often pushed the envelope of what is considered acceptable to air on TV and has crafted a legacy that has stood the test of time, amassing millions of fans worldwide throughout its nearly three-decade-long run. South Park has also often inspired its fans to create stunning tributes to the series, including one re-creating a memorable location in The Sims.

South Park Fan Shows Off Cartman’s House in The Sims
Reddit user jessesuxdtd shared their stunning South Park-themed creation to the Sims subreddit, giving a glimpse at the Cartman family home. The attached image shows off their impressive build of the first floor of Cartman’s house, featuring the iconic green carpets and yellow-painted walls. The build is simplistic in its decorations, matching the basic nature of the house from the show, with little more than the couch and TV in the living room and the dining set on the other side. The Sims player’s build notably does not include the second floor of the Cartman residence, excluding Cartman and his mother’s bedrooms from the Sims creation.

The re-creation of the Cartman family house comes packed with plenty of minor details as well. The painting hanging behind the couch in the living room serves as a reference to the photo of Cartman and his mother on display within the show. The Reddit user did respond to another comment asking about pets in the Cartman home, suggesting that the user could make the re-creation feel even more accurate with Mr. Kitty. However, the user shared that they were showing off Cartman’s house in the game’s Build Mode, with no in-game family currently living on the property. The Sims first added pets to the game with the release of 2002’s The Sims: Unleashed expansion.
The Reddit user’s stunning South Park re-creation comes as the franchise has always had a presence within the world of gaming. South Park received its first video game just over a year after the premiere of the first episode, with the Nintendo 64’s South Park releasing in December 1998. South Park has seen a plethora of video game adaptations over the years, including popular games like The Stick of Truth and The Fractured but Whole allowing fans to explore the entirety of the town. South Park also recently received a major collaboration with Fortnite, adding multiple skins and changes to the in-game island based on the series.
South Park‘s future looks as bright as ever with big things on the way for the franchise. Creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone signed a big deal with Paramount late last year, bringing South Park exclusively to Paramount Plus and confirming new episodes for the next five years. South Park began its 28th season shortly after the deal was signed, premiering its first episode in October 2025 and concluding in December. As long as South Park continues to air, the series will surely inspire even more fans with its risky comedy and lovable characters.
