Valheim is Officially Coming to the Nintendo Switch 2

During the recent Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase, Iron Gate Studio revealed that the popular co-op survival game Valheim will be making its way to Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026. Valheim is an early access title that made its initial debut on February 2, 2021, but it was eventually ported to the Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S platforms in 2023. After years of waiting, it seems as if even more people will be able to enjoy the co-op title, as it has officially been confirmed that Valheim will be launching on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 later this year.

Valheim is a survival-crafting title that allows up to 10 players to explore a procedurally generated world where danger lurks beyond every corner. Gamers start their journey without any supplies, so they need to start gathering materials as soon as possible.
