A Fall Guys player discovered a funny glitch that turned their Bean into in-game currency. Known for its wacky battle royale-style gameplay, Fall Guys became one of the most popular party games during the pandemic lockdowns, and still has a relatively steady playerbase after becoming free on Epic and other platforms.
Fall Guys‘ chaotic obstacle courses have been the source of many clips showing Beans getting eliminated in the silliest ways, like accidentally falling off the platform and getting catapulted by traps. With the sheer size and activity of each Fall Guys match, it’s not surprising to see some glitches, which could be either game-breaking or just plain funny for players.

Fortnite Leak Reveals Major Cosmetic Feature for Upcoming Fall Guys Collaboration
A new Fortnite leak suggests that an update will include a major cosmetic addition that could affect many existing skins in the game.
Reddit user POKENERDYT recently encountered a glitch that transformed their Bean into a Show Buck, which is the in-game currency that can be used to purchase season passes and items in the shop. They explained that they triggered the glitch by going to the store and selecting Show Buck purchases without buying them, and went back to the game’s lobby to find their Bean fully transformed. Despite Fall Guys‘ wide variety of skins, it doesn’t have a Show Buck skin, so this was definitely a fun glitch.
In the comments, many Fall Guys fans thought the bug was funny, while also requesting developer Mediatonic to make a permanent Show Buck skin. Meanwhile, POKENERDYT also confirmed that the Show Buck skin glitch didn’t carry over to their game, which meant that this was purely a lobby bug.
Fall Guys Continues to Grow With Creative Crossovers
After almost four years, Fall Guys continues to bring creative skins and crossovers to other popular franchises, like Final Fantasy and Nier Automata. Fall Guys recently teased a Marvel crossover, showing the silhouettes of Beans as the Incredible Hulk, Captain America, and Thor. There were also rumors that Fall Guys and Fortnite would have a crossover very soon, with leaks showing Fortnite avatars with Bean-inspired cosmetics.
Fall Guys achieved longevity with its unique gameplay and design, which has been described by many as a leveled-up version of the popular Japanese game show Takeshi’s Castle. It’s also sometimes used in content creator tournaments, where thousands of viewers tune in to cheer on their favorite streamers to finish Fall Guys rounds. Meanwhile, other companies are reportedly creating Fall Guys-inspired games, like the rumored Sonic the Hedgehog spin-off called Sonic Rumble, which shows how Mediatonic’s title created a new standard for the battle royale genre.
