Pokemon GO Player Goes on Stunning Unlucky Streak
A Pokemon GO player is sharing their unbelievably bad luck online, revealing they missed out on several highly sought-after Pokemon.
Now, a Pokemon GO player called Magician_In_Black shared a weird glitch with the game’s community on r/pokemongo. Magician_In_Black was exploring when they discovered a Mankey with a CP of 488. However, this was no ordinary Mankey, as the creature’s textures did not load properly, and the monkey-inspired Pokemon looked like it was wearing a dark blue ninja outfit. This weird glitch surprised the community, as most fans loved “ninja Mankey,” and deemed that the style fits the Fighting-type monster perfectly.
Pokemon GO Missing Texture Glitch Turns Mankey Into a Ninja
This is just one of many funny or weird glitches to appear in Pokemon GO recently. Last week, for example, a Pokemon GO glitch turned Mewtwo into a skater. In this case, it was not a Pokemon’s texture that did not load as intended. Instead, it looked like both Pokemon models were “fused,” as the glitch made the shiny Shadow Mewtwo move together with a Falinks, giving the impression that one was riding on top of the other.
Other bugs are much more bizarre than these visual glitches regarding wild Pokemon, though. Recently, a gamer discovered that Zamazenta was appearing in some Pokemon GO players’ photos despite not being in their teams. The appearance of the glitched Pokemon amazed players, as Zamazenta is very rare in Pokemon GO, and most players do not have it in their collections.
In another bizarre glitch spotted a while ago, a mysterious item appeared in Pokemon GO without a name or a description. According to data miners, the item was called “cassette” in the game’s files and there was no way to get it without the glitch. Hopefully, most of these glitches will be patched by Niantic soon, but at least a few gamers would likely be happy if ninja Mankey continued in the game.
