Where Can You Store Items In Crimson Desert

Are you wondering if there’s a way to store items in Crimson Desert? Maybe there’s an item chest or a player stash? Well, there isn’t, at least not at this very moment. However, there are ways to help you manage all your loot.

Crimson Desert’s lack of a player storage system

There’s currently no player stash or storage in Crimson Desert. That in itself is quite an odd decision, given that this is an open-world action RPG that has numerous items to collect and upgrade.

However, we’ve learned from the developers at Pearl Abyss that they’re planning to introduce a storage system in the future. There’s no definite timeframe for this update, but it won’t be part of the Day 1 Patch. So, what can you do to manage all your items in the game?

Vendors can be used as temporary storage, but you need to repurchase your items within a couple of days.

Use vendors as temporary storage

If you’re carrying a lot of items and you lack the inventory space, you could sell some of them to vendor NPCs in towns:

  • Vendors have a Repurchase menu–i.e. buyback option. That said, you’re going to sell your item at a lower price and you have to rebuy it at full price. You’ll be at a disadvantage.
  • Items will stay in the Repurchase menu for roughly two to three in-game days. After that, there’s a chance that the items would disappear for good.
  • Think of this method as something you only use for emergencies, such as when you need to craft or upgrade various items and you lack the space. It’s not something you want to try for prolonged instances.

Keep increasing your inventory slots

Currently, the best way to store items in Crimson Desert is to keep them on your character at all times. While it might seem a bit weird, the game doesn’t have a carry weight system, so you can lug around tons of items without being over-encumbered.

Of course, you still need to gain more inventory slots. This is primarily done by purchasing Small Bags from vendor NPCs and by completing side quests that reward you with Medium Bags.

That does it for our guide on how Crimson Desert doesn’t have a means of letting you stash your items. Since we’re on the subject, you might want to learn about how to increase your inventory slots.

The lands of Pywel are vast and you are the only one who can keep the peace. As you explore distant realms and battle numerous foes, you might want to read about various tips in our Crimson Desert guides hub.
