WWE 2K26 has officially restored the Hardy Boyz to its playable roster with the launch of Ringside Pass Season 4. Matt and Jeff Hardy are now available together in an officially licensed WWE game for the first time in over half a decade, with WWE 2K26 players able to purchase them for just under $10.
The brothers made their video game debut in 1999’s WWF WrestleMania 2000 for the Nintendo 64, remaining regular fixtures throughout much of the next decade. After a lengthy absence, they returned as DLC in WWE 2K18 and appeared in the following two entries in the long-running franchise. However, only Jeff made the roster for WWE 2K22. Their continued absence eventually led to Matt and Jeff Hardy becoming the most popular Community Creations in WWE 2K25, reflecting the fandom’s enduring interest in the iconic tag team.
The Hardy Boyz Are Tier 1 Rewards in WWE 2K26 Season 4
For the first time since WWE 2K20, the Hardy Boyz are officially back in 2K’s wrestling franchise as of July 22, 2026. That is when Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy joined the WWE 2K26 roster as part of Ringside Pass Season 4, alongside musician Jelly Roll and AAA wrestler Lady Shani. All four characters are Premium Track Tier 1 rewards, allowing players with access to the paid track to claim them immediately rather than progress through most of the pass. Together, the additions bring 47 new moves and taunts to WWE 2K26.

WWE 2K26 Season 4 Also Adds Team Xtreme Personas
The remaining Premium Track rewards include Team Xtreme Persona versions of Jeff Hardy ’00 and Lita ’00. Once unlocked, these alternate appearances can be used outside WWE 2K26‘s MyFACTION mode, allowing players to more closely recreate the trio’s Attitude Era presentation. Season 4 also includes Create-A-Superstar parts, additional moves, RXP boosts, MyFACTION tokens, Island VC, and other progression rewards. Players who do not purchase the Premium Track can still unlock alternate Persona versions of Chad Gable ’16, John Cena ’25, and Shinsuke Nakamura ’23 through the free reward path. Ringside Pass Premium Season 4 is included with WWE 2K26‘s Attitude Era and Monday Night War editions through their Season Passes. Owners of other editions can purchase it separately for $9.99.

What’s Next for WWE 2K26
The Hardy Boyz are far from the final additions planned for WWE 2K26. The WrestleMania 42 Pack will arrive on August 19, 2026, adding arenas based on both nights of the event and Persona versions of Cody Rhodes and Alexa Bliss, as well as Liv Morgan. Ringside Pass Season 5 will follow in September 2026 with Danhausen, Bam Bam Bigelow, Pagano, and Brie Bella. The sixth and final season will arrive in October 2026, adding Earthquake, Typhoon, Octagón Jr, and Royce Keys.
2K has not yet announced exact release dates or the broader reward lineups for the final two passes. However, what is already known is the WWE 2K26 shutdown date: March 31, 2028. Based on 2K’s release patterns throughout the 2020s, that date will most likely fall a few weeks after WWE 2K28 launches.
