WWE 2K26’s Entire Roster (As Officially Confirmed So Far)

It’s almost that time of year again: WWE 2K26 is landing on March 13—even earlier if you pre-order one of the premium editions. And just like its predecessors, WWE 2K26 is shaping up to have one hell of a final roster, the biggest in WWE 2K history, in fact.

Granted, we don’t exactly know the full details of WWE 2K26’s roster, although 2K Games has confirmed that it will feature over 400 wrestlers in total. Industry insiders have claimed to know of at least 129 playable characters so far, and other sources, such as The Smackdown Hotel, place the number at well over 200. But based on the official word from 2K Games itself, a grand total of 71 wrestlers are confirmed for the final WWE 2K26 cast.

This is less than a quarter of WWE 2K26’s full roster, and we can make some educated guesses about who 2K is omitting from this list. For instance, Logan Paul has been featured in the last four WWE 2K games, and is still signed to WWE in real life, so it’s safe to assume that he will return even though he hasn’t been officially announced by 2K yet.

Beyond the 71 fighters confirmed for the core roster, WWE 2K26 will also feature a number of DLC and pre-order bonus characters. Like its predecessors, the game will have a Standard Edition, but also several special editions at higher price points. In this case, there will be three higher-priced versions: King of Kings Edition, Attitude Era Edition, and Monday Night War Edition.

Superstars Available Exclusively Through WWE 2K26’s King of Kings Edition

  • Triple H ’98
  • Stephanie McMahon ’00

Superstars Available Exclusively Through WWE 2K26’s Attitude Era Edition

  • The Rock ’99
  • Kane ’98
  • Chyna ’97

Superstars Available Exclusively Through WWE 2K26’s Monday Night War Edition

  • Shawn Michaels DX
  • Macho Man Randy Savage ’98
  • Rowdy Roddy Piper ’98

The WWE 2K26 Monday Night War Edition is the most expensive of the three special versions, retailing at $149.99 USD, and contains all content from the other two editions as well. The Attitude Era Edition is $129.99, while the King of Kings Edition will set you back $99.99. The standard edition of WWE 2K26 will cost $69.99 at launch.

As for DLC fighters, we know that Joe Hendry will be available via The Joe Hendry Pack, which will also be included in any purchase of any WWE 2K26 special edition. The Joe Hendry Pack will also be available as a pre-order bonus, regardless of edition.

The aforementioned special editions of WWE 2K26 also come with a considerable amount of additional content, beyond the extra Superstars. For instance, the Attitude Era Edition comes with the RAW is WAR ‘98 arena, while the Monday Night War Edition includes the WCW Thunder ’98 arena. Somewhat controversially, WWE 2K26 is following the pre-order early access trend: players who pre-order any edition of the game will get to play it a week early.

When Can We Expect to Learn More About WWE 2K26’s Roster?

According to ESPN’s programming schedule, a WWE 2K26 Ratings Reveal Special will air on February 27, just a few short weeks before the game’s global launch. While there hasn’t been an official announcement from 2K, WWE, or ESPN regarding what precisely this special will be about, it’s been widely speculated that it will reveal the broader 2K26 roster, alongside the ratings for each Superstar. This would line up with the marketing schedule for WWE 2K25: the roster for that game was revealed in late February as well.

It will certainly be exciting to see who WWE 2K26 will ultimately feature in its final, massive roster, even though we can already theorize about who won’t be returning. For instance, we know that WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley won’t be coming back due to his decision not to renew his Legends contract, while contemporary wrestlers like Andrade El Ídolo have departed WWE, and are thereby less likely to appear in the game, despite being featured in previous releases.
