Xbox Game Pass Adds Day-One Cyberpunk Game and 2 Other Titles

Xbox Game Pass subscribers have three new titles to play today, including the cyberpunk action platformer Replaced. With those arrivals, Xbox Game Pass has now officially added eight titles in April 2026 and 62 since the start of the year.

Replaced is the debut title from Sad Cat Studios, an indie developer founded in Belarus and relocated to Cyprus following the 2022 invasion of Ukraine. It is a 2.5D action platformer set in an alternate version of the 1980s United States, specifically the cyberpunk metropolis of Phoenix City, founded and operated by the omnipresent Phoenix Corporation. Players control a Phoenix Corp AI trapped in a human body as it seeks to uncover the secrets of its creator, including why the sinister company created it in the first place. Originally announced during the June 2021 Xbox Games Showcase, Replaced was initially scheduled to launch in 2022 but has since undergone multiple delays.

3 New Titles Now Available on Xbox Game Pass

Replaced finally launched for PC and consoles on April 14, debuting internationally at 9 a.m. ET. Fulfilling Sad Cat’s promise from half a decade ago, the cinematic cyberpunk platformer was added to Xbox Game Pass on day one. Replaced joins Microsoft’s subscription service alongside Supergiant Games’ hack-and-slash RPG Hades 2 and Fool’s Theory’s 2024 CRPG The Thaumaturge. The three arrivals constitute the largest Xbox Game Pass content wave of April 2026 so far.

While Hades 2 officially left early access in late September 2025, Supergiant’s Greek mythology-inspired roguelite ARPG was initially only available for PC, Mac, and the Nintendo Switch 2. Its Xbox Series X/S port has only debuted today, making Hades 2 the second April 14 addition to Xbox Game Pass that can be categorized as a day-one title, if only partially. The Thaumaturge, an isometric turn-based RPG set in alternate 20th-century Warsaw, is the only member of today’s trio that’s not a day-one addition by any definition, having originally launched in March 2024.

The next catalog update is scheduled for April 16, when Microsoft’s subscription service will add EA Sports NHL 26. The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered is also set to join the Premium-tier library the same day. The modernized version of Oblivion was first added to Xbox Game Pass in late April 2025 and has so far been available exclusively to PC Game Pass and XGP Ultimate subscribers. The 2022 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare reboot is then due to arrive on April 17, when it will be added to all non-Essential tiers. Another triple-title catalog update is scheduled for April 21, although two of its additions will not be new titles but rather expanded releases joining the Xbox Game Pass Premium library.

April 21 is also the date Microsoft is expected to unveil the Xbox Game Pass Wave 2 lineup for this month. The upcoming roadmap is already known to include Double Fine’s pottery party game Kiln and Don’t Nod Entertainment’s sci-fi adventure Aphelion, which are due to debut as day-one additions on April 23 and April 28, respectively.
