The Xbox Game Pass library now includes Corsair Cove. Its arrival marks the 15th and final new title to reach the service in July 2026 and the 121st Xbox Game Pass release since the start of the year.
Made by Tropico 6 developer Limbic Entertainment and published by Hooded Horse, Corsair Cove is a cozy city builder with a pirate theme. Players begin on an underdeveloped island with a small crew and the remains of a ship, then gradually expand their base into a thriving settlement. As the population grows, they must meet increasingly complex demands while efficiently moving workers and supplies across different elevations using paths, bridges, and ziplines. That is all on top of overseeing maritime operations by managing ships, crews, and exploration assignments.

The Service Rounds Out Its July 2026 Lineup with a Pirate-Themed City Builder
Corsair Cove is officially available on Xbox Game Pass as of July 31 at 10 a.m. EDT. Like any other day-one addition to Microsoft’s content catalog, the pirate-themed city builder is presently limited to XGP Ultimate and PC Game Pass. Its list of supported platforms is a bit more unusual, with Corsair Cove launching as a PC exclusive. As a result, not even Xbox Cloud Gaming support is currently on the table because the streaming service runs on custom Xbox Series X hardware and can thus only work with modern Xbox console ports.
Corsair Cove rounds out the Xbox Game Pass Wave 2 lineup for July 2026. The service added 15 titles during the month, matching its June 2026 total. However, July surpassed June in day-one releases, introducing 10 of them in total, or two more than the preceding month.

Looking ahead, Xbox Game Pass already has four confirmed day-one titles for August 2026: Beast of Reincarnation, Sandustry, Grave Seasons, and Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy. Another catalog change for the upcoming month concerns Heretic + Hexen, which is due to expand to the Premium-tier catalog on August 4.
August 4 is also the likeliest date for the Wave 1 lineup for the following month to be officially unveiled. In the meantime, eight titles are scheduled to leave Xbox Game Pass on July 31, including Celeste, Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord, and Crusader Kings 3.
